The Ice Bear 20 puts you in control of when you use electricity, freeing you from the power company’s expensive time-of-use rates. Just use the app to “sync” your Ice Bear to match the time-of-use rates and time frames in your specific geographic area. Then your Ice Bear 20 will automatically minimize peak-rate electricity usage while making the most of times when electricity is least expensive to give you impressive cost savings. From the app’s home page, you can monitor and control current and upcoming Ice Bear operating conditions, ice charge level and savings data. The app also allows you to control when your Ice Bear uses ice cooling and when it acts as a traditional air conditioner.
